Today, at about 10:22 am, the SpaceX Falcon 9 CRS-7 exploded at an altitude of about 40 km. All of our team and many of our family members were present, eager to finally see a successful launch, only to hear of a tragic loss 134 seconds after lift off.
It is especially devastating to experience this failure today after watching the Antares Orbital 3 mission explode with our experiment onboard on the launchpad just months before.
